I'm finally back on, for the first time in a few years. I've decided to just write this to fill you guys in on where I've been, what I've done, and what I need to tell.

I'm in my senior year o' high school now. I'm really glad that it's gonna be over, but it's kinda sad too. I'm really gonna miss all the free time I've (recently, anyhow) gotten to spend biking on the bike trail or just walking through the snows of New England. I've really realized from this past year how much of the beauty of this world we miss when we just drive all the time.

I'm going to be going to college at an automotive university called UTI in Norwood, Massachusetts. It seems like the perfect school for what I want to do (high-end automotive repair), because 90.2% of the people picked by Mercedes, Porsche, Lexus, Audi, and BMW to go their respective graduate schools come from UTI. The oppurtunity has finally reared it's beautiful head, and hopefully I'll work hard and grab the metaphorical beast by its horns.

I got my first tattoo done (yes, finally!!!) After 7 years of wrestling for Amherst, I realized all the things wrestling has taught me about going after what you want and never letting anyone or anything get in the way of that.

But most importantly of all, and certainly the biggest change, I'd say, was my decision in September of 2006 to become a Christian. It's changed how my friends think of me; some positively, some negatively. But nonetheless, I've certainly changed. Being in Western Mass makes it even more...interesting. It's like the biggest taboo around here to speak your mind when every word coming out of your mouth isn't pro-choice, pro-gay, pro-hippie, pro-vegan and stuff like that.

Finally comes the hard part: what I need to tell.

This seems kinda wierd, as I hardly know most of you, but you need to know that I may have lied to quite a few of you on previous occasions. For a long time, mostly because I was a pretty messed up kid, I lied to most people I knew about stuff that really didn't matter. I guess I felt that if I seemed "cool", then people would like me more. But in fact, the more I lied, the worse I felt, which would cause me to lie even more to try to cover up other lies people had found out about. I got myself so deep into it that for a while, I really didn't have any friends, because nobody could trust me. But a few weeks ago, a kid at our school who's normally very quiet came up to me and thanked me for cheering him up when he was having a really crappy day. I think, although my lying had decreased long ago, that this occurance really helped me to realize that people like me just the way I am. I don't need to be fancy or skinny or strong or anything like that. I just need to be myself, and I'll be just fine.

I guess what I'm saying is that I really am sorry, and if you can handle talking to me again, I'd love to.
